Geckos are insectivores
Geckos are insectivores. That’s means for good leopard gecko care you need to feel them insects. They prefer to eat their food live. They live to eat butter worms, cockroaches, crickets, mealworms or wax worms. There are some gecko owners who choose to raise crickets or mealworms specifically for feeding their little reptiles. If you are breeding crickets, it’s not as hard as it may sound and it’s a far cheaper way to take care of your leopard gecko.
